Today was delivery day of wool to the mill. So I had to pack up all the wool I had been collecting and bring it down for weighing. I had loads of unsolicited help at home while I was loading the wool into the horse box.
When we got to the mill I had to rely on human help to unload the heavy bags of wool.
Some of the sacks were so large we had to use the scales hooks to hold them off the ground to get the correct weight.
When we had finished weighing, recording and storing all the wool, I wandered back up through the mill looking for Rosamond knowing she would get lost in drawing all the wonderful machinery.
I pull Rosamond away as it’s time to leave but we go one last time into the spinning room so she can take a photograph of the spinning machine.
I couldn’t resist taking one more. I loved the red yarn on the black machine.
