We’ve been selling our Zwartbles wool Blankets for 8 weeks and now they’re going to The London Design Festival September 14 – 22 2013 to help represent some of Ireland’s own designs!!
An idea hatched in a kitchen warmed by an Aga during long winter nights.
First the sheep are shorn
Wool all cleaned
Carded
Spun
And Finally Woven
at the wonderful Cushendale Woollen Mills in Graig-na-managh, County Kilkenny.
From small green fields all across Ireland Zwartbles wool collected and transformed into a product that is now going to The London Design Festival a strange but wonderful farm life.
Our knitting yarn is pure Irish Zwartbles wool and spun from their wonderful dark chocolate brown fleece.
Hi Suzanna
I am coming to see you on Friday morning and looking forward to it. Plan to be with you around 10.00 / 10.30. I have mislaid your mobile number. So sorry and wondered if you could send it to me. Also I just wondered if you could send me that lovely photo of your sheep having a look at blankets in basket and one of blankets being woven. I would really like to feature images in my forthcoming newsletter. Thanks so much. Emma (I am of Ireland)
Great see you then I will text you so you have my number. Yes I will send you those photographs.
