First day back from a few days away is always busy and today was no different. I had a buyer coming in to collect some ewes and lambs. So first thing was to get all the girls in and sort out who was who and who was going for a road trip to a wonderful new farm.
Getting in behind to move them up the hill to the yard was easy enough.
Once in the yard it was time to sort the lambs who were going from the ones staying
Once the new owners have sorted through which sheep they would like to take. We then have to work through all the paper work, while the ladies have their final foot bath.
The Cat Shepherd turns up as we are about to load to protest the departure of some of his flock. He is not amused and stands in front of the magic bucket.
Mr. B sat and watched the trailer depart, rattling down the drive as the rain began to fall.
