When in the orchard today counting lambs I heard a pathetic cry of a lamb, sounding like it was stuck where it shouldn’t be.

All the other lambs where quite happy grazing or lying down chewing their cuds. So I walked towards the sound only to find a wicked ram lamb had scrambled up onto a wall and jumped over the fence into a neighbors field.

So over I scrambled after it barbed wire sticking into me through my cloths and brambles scratching my hands thinking and saying rude things about straying little ram lambs.

I had to corner him into a fence, catch him by the hind legs pick him up then push him over the fence. Once he was over he trotted off to be with his friends not a bother on him, while I had to struggle back over wire, wall and through brambles. When I get back into the orchard and start towards the gate a pack of lambs start to gallop after me with guess who leading them all on. You can see a piece of bramble still stuck on his shoulder from his escape experience.
